First Stage of Goulburn River High Country Rail Trail (NE Victoria ) Opens

On Wednesday 4th August 2010, Kaye Darveniza MLC officially opened the 11.8 km Mansfield to Midland Link Highway Section.
This is the first section to open since the Victorian and Federal governments announced their funding grants to construct the whole 134km trail from Tallarook to Mansfield and Alexandra.
Frank Kinnersley represented Railtrails Australia at this milestone event and his full report will be in the Spring edition of Rail Trail connections.
