A reminder that the Draft Plan for this rail trail is available for public comment, with submissions due by the 31st of January 2008.

On Monday 25th Febraury 2008 a collection of interested people gathered near the station site in Port Fairy to see the first sods turned to start the new 37km trail.

The major new pedestrian bridge over the Tarwin River is now open.

This rail trail from Oberon to Hazelgrove was officially opened on the 31st march 2008

Horse yards to open at Linville on May 25th and Moore to Linville & Fernvale to Lowood sections reopened.
