Amy Gillett Rail Trail – Discover, Play, Bikeway! 2022
After a hugely successful inaugural event in 2021, the Adelaide Hills Council has organised Discover, Play, Bikeway! again on Sunday 6 March 2022.
Ride or walk the Amy Gillett Rail Trail and discover an array of pop-up food, music, art, and performance options from Oakbank, to Woodside, Charleston and Mount Torrens! Whether by wheels, hoof, or foot, the rail trail is a perfect recreation trail, with up to 15km of flat, sealed surface leading through picturesque towns, past iconic hills businesses and thriving wineries. Enjoy pop up music, art, food and performances from local artists and eateries.
There will be three hubs along the rail trail that represent the ideal opportunity to rest and spend time supporting local businesses, community groups, and artists. All hubs will offer parking, toilets, bins, and refreshments. Plan your day around one or more of these locations, or meander the whole way!
