Following the successful rail trails forum in Tumbarumba in April 2021, another potential rail trail has just been added to the NSW list.

In south-central NSW, Borrowa to Galong is the latest addition, and it is being advocated by a strong local group in Boorowa.

The proposed trail would be 29km long, crossing superb grazing land linking Galong on the main NSW southern rail line with the historic town of Boorowa, famous in part for its annual “Running of the Sheep” festival.

For more information abouth this proposed rail trail, see this LINK.
