Calling all supporters of more rail trails in NSW – the Batlow-Tumut rail trail group needs your support.
There are 2 main ways to add your voice: there will be a supporters’ desk at the upcoming Ciderfest in Batlow on 16 May 2026, where you can enjoy music, at least 8 cider makers’ products, great food and country hospitality. You can register your support for this potential rail trail at the rail trail group’s desk in the main Ciderfest area.
If you can’t make it to Batlow for Ciderfest, the Batlow group has a Facebook page – place a message of support there, and let them know how popular their rail trail will be. Stage 1 of the rail trail is from Batlow to Wybalena in the apple orchard area north of the town. It is a very scenic area of NSW.
