The Boorowa Galong Rail Trail Committee has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for its rail trail development plan, the next step in bringing this important project in the Hilltops area of central-southern New South Wales to fruition.
The 27km Boorowa rail trail would provide a convenient year-round attraction for day trippers (mainly from Sydney or Canberra) and overnight visitors to the region. In addition, infrastructure such as this will provide Hilltops locals with a new opportunity for walking, cycling, fun runs, triathlons, and half/full marathons.

The trail’s feasibility study, produced by Mike Halliburton Associates, found the proposed trail to be economically viable and made a range of positive observations about the trail’s prospects and its projected beneficial impact on the region.
