It was party time for the Curdies Trestle Bridge committee and volunteers on Saturday 19 June. This date marked the completion of Stage 3 of the Bridge Restoration project. A new deck was laid, and handrails put in place. The hard work has finally paid off and the newly restored bridge is now open to the public.
This work allows visitors to travel from Timboon to Merrett’s Rd. near Glenfyne without having to cross any roads. This is close to 14 or so kilometres off road.
Enjoy the views as you now cross the 183m long bridge.
