The Daylesford Macedon Rail Trail (DMRT) Feasibility Study will be expanded to include the Daylesford Spa Country Rail “Crossing the Divide” project.
According to the media release from Hepburn Shire Council on 17 September 2020, the DMRT builds on the regions’ wellness brand and offers visitors the opportunity to walk, ride, unwind and explore the region.
Combining the feasibility study for various projects relating to extending the existing train service and the development of walking and cycling trails will reduce the costs of doing separate studies and has the support of Regional Development Victoria.
You can read the full details of the media release as well as other information regarding these projects here.
