Rail Trails Australia is keen to support the development of rail trails in Tasmania. One of the ways to raise awareness is though community-driven events such as the Rail Trail Run and Ride being promoted by the Rotary Club of Scottsdale in Tasmania’s north.
This event will take place on the spectacular North-East Rail Trail, with a run scheduled for Saturday 13 September and a ride on Sunday 14 September.
There is also a team event consisting of a 7 km run and a 18 km ride for teams of 4 participants.
