Mary Valley Rail Trail planning feedback (Queensland)
Gympie Regional Council is currently in the preliminary stages of planning the Mary Valley Rail Trail.
The trail will activate a dis-used rail corridor to provide the local community and visitors alike the opportunity
to walk, cycle off-road and ride their horses between the townships of Imbil and Brooloo.
The proposed trail is approximately 4.5 kilometres one-way and will be suitable for all fitness levels as a great
one way or return experience.
This project is being undertaken by Gympie Regional Council and is fully funded by the State Government’s
Works for Queensland program.
