Register for news updatesThe Snowy Rail Bridge Steampunk Soiree Returns for 2026
The annual winter Snowy Steampunk Soiree will take place again at the Snowy Rail Bridge at Orbost, with all funds raised going to support the ongoing maintenance and restoration of the Snowy Rail Bridge.
Held beneath the towering timber trestle, it sees the western end of the bridge transform into a steampunk playground of firelight, music and glowing vintage‑industrial charm.
The event offers Gippsland beer and wine, spiced hot toddies, and “winter drinks with a kick”. According to the organisers, attendees “graze on fireside snacks, wander beneath the trestles, and let eclectic tunes carry you through an evening where invention, imagination and heritage collide”.
This year’s event will be held 4pm-7pm Saturday 18 July, 2026
Book here for tickets ($45) which include one drink of choice, tea and coffee. Food and additional drinks available for purchase on the night.
The dresscode is “full steampunk attire” however it’s a “come‑as‑you‑are” celebration.
