Tiger Rail Trail Feasibility Study
Posted on 14/06/14
Consultants have been examining the former railway corridor to see if a trail between Birregurra and Forrest is physically possible at a reasonable cost. Community engagement sessions are being made available this coming week, at the following venues.
- Deans Marsh – Tuesday 17th June. 4pm-6pm. Deans Marsh Hall.
- Birregurra – Wednesday 18th June. 1pm-4pm Birregurra Community Health Centre.
- Barwon Downs – Thursday 19th June. 9am-12noon Barwon Downs Hall.
- Forrest– Thursday 19th June. 2pm-4pm Forrest Hall
The committee would welcome as many participants from the community as possible to attend one of the meetings to learn more about what is being done, and to register your ideas as well.
If it is not possible to get to a session please send email comments to Mike Maher, the principal consultant at firstname.lastname@example.org . The Feasibility Study is crucial to advance the project and community support will be a key consideration as to whether the trail proceeds to the next stage.
