The Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail in southern NSW has received positive media coverage in an ABC TV news item that was widely aired on 29 December. ABC Journalist Shannon Corvo’s segment highlights the regional business benefits that the trail has encouraged, and includes interviews with Owen Fitzgerald (Chairman of the TRRT Committee) and several local business operators.
The segment also covers the resolution of biosecurity concerns that were raised by landholders during trail planning, and mentions the 13 new businesses in the Tumbarumba area since the trail opened.
