As a volunteer-run organisation, we rely on the generous donations that we receive from kind-hearted members and the general public. These donations enable us to continue to do the work we do, and aim even higher. The rail trail network has increased in recent years, and we certainly believe Rail Trails Australia has played a major part in that.
We have worked hard to help reframe rail trails into positive community assets. We advocate for, publicise and celebrate rail trails, and produce websites and magazines and social media content to help inspire and guide people on their way. But all this costs money. And takes time.
Please, make us speechless again, so we can carry on our work to extend Australia’s rail trail network even further.
