Register for news updatesWulkuraka to Wanora opens along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
The Queensland Government has opened the section from Brassal to Wanora in November 2016, making the total length of the Lower and Upper section of the BVRT now 133km.
It is now possiable to to catch a interurban train to Wulkuraka then ride the 85km to Toogoolawah along the BVRT
The frist 5km travels along a concrete pathway and includes three new bridges ,while the next 17km is gravel and conrete creek crossing.
The ride is mostly flat with a litttle climb up Pine Mountain.
While the first section does travel through built up area , there are no toilets along the 22km section and water is only available in the park along the rail trail at Brassall.
Please take care crossing the Brisbane Valley Highway .
