The City of Greater Bendigo,  in partnership with communityvibe, is currently preparing a plan to guide the development and sustainable management of the O’Keefe Rail Trail.

A new paper on Active Transport for SE Queensland includes support for a Boonah - Ipswich trail to make Ipswich a major active recreation hub by linking the existing heavily utilised Brisbane Valley Rail Trail to the SE Queensland weekend destination of Boonah.
