Cycle Dindi 2025

Organised by the Rotary Clubs of Yea/Alexandra in Victoria, this is a charity bike ride along the Great Victorian Rail Trail with a choice of 3 starting locations; Yea, Alexandra or Merton. Riders converge on Cathkin for lunch on the bank of the Goulburn River. Click on the heading above to book your ride.

Weekend in Wondai

Set against the backdrop of the charming South Burnett region in Queensland, this event celebrates both the spirit of ANZAC Day and the joys of bike riding. Combining family-friendly rides with more challenging routes for experienced riders, participants will explore scenic attractions, local history, and the natural beauty of the area on and around the South Burnett Rail Trail.

The O’Keefe Challenge

Victoria’s O’Keefe Challenge has been an annual event since 2015 and has expanded into a bunch of events along the O’Keefe Rail Trail, including a night bike ride and runs that range in distance from 1 km to a full marathon (42.2 km).

Bellbird and back…a taste of the trail

As part of the Gourmay Mary Valley Food Festival, this is a sunset wine and cheese followed by a 2.5 km walk along the Mary Valley Rail Trail where dinner, music and campfire tales await before returning for sweet treats an port.

The Great Rail Run

The Great Rail Run on 4 May 2025 includes a Half Marathon, 17km and 10km distance along the Bellarine Rail Trail in Victoria.

Sunday 11 May

Mansfield Marathon

Join us for the 4th annual Mansfield Marathon, raising money for the Mansfield Athletics club, Friends of the Great Victorian Rail Trail and the Mothers Day Classic. It’s fast, flat and scenic running on the Great Victorian Rail Trail.

Southern Rail Trail Run

Running along the Great Southern Rail Trail in Victoria offers an immersive experience of natural beauty, tranquility, and heritage. This trail, stretching over 130km’s,  follows the path of the old Great Southern Railway, meandering through lush forests, rolling farmland, and charming small towns and stunning views of Wilsons Promontory.

Pub to Pelican

Welcome to Pub to Pelican, where the vastness of Lake Hume, the spirit of the High Country Rail Trail, and the camaraderie of our running community intersect. Pub to Pelican takes you on a journey through the scenic beauty and vibrant culture of the Lake Hume community. Events include a 42 km marathon through to a 3 km fun run.

Friday 20 – Sunday 22 June

Brisbane Valley Rail Trail 100s

The BVRT 100s returns with the original 100 mile race plus a 200 mile option. Starting at the Yarraman Heritage Centre on Saturday, the 100 mile event travels the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BVRT) to Brassall, and picks up the start of the 100km at Harlin, the 50 mile at Toogoolawah and the Marathon at Coominya. All events finish at Ipswich Grammar School (IGS).

Friday 4 – Sunday 6 July

Y2W: The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Adventure

Y2W will take participants on a 3-day, point-to-point adventure along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. This fully catered and supported event offers a unique opportunity to explore one of Queensland’s most scenic gravel riding routes, starting in Yarraman and finishing in Wulkuraka.

Boyne Valley 50

A multi-distance trail running event along the Dawes Range section of the Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail from the Grand Hotel Many Peaks to Barrimoon. Opt for the Full 50k, the 23k Downhill, the 23k Uphill, or the 12k Taster.

Friday 3 – Monday 6 October

Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail Weekend

The event offers a 4-day riding experience along parts of the Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail in Queensland. Participants will enjoy a mix of diverse rides, from relaxed routes to more challenging adventure trails, all set in the historically rich and visually stunning landscape of the region.

Burrumbuttock’s 150th: ‘From Then ’til Now’

Celebrate the township and district’s history along with the vibrant community it is today. An historical town on the Culcairn – Corowa Rail Trail, there will be a street parade, vintage machinery display, food and market stalls, old fashioned games, vintage fashion parade and evening bush dance.
