Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads has partnered with Trail Towns to create an episode that winds 161 km all the way from Yarraman to Wulkuraka on the longest rail trail in Australia, the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BVRT).
In the first episode, Paul van der Ploeg (Vandy) and Dieter Kahsnitz (Deetz) explore this recreational trail that follows the historic Brisbane Valley railway corridor.
Cycle tourism program Trail Towns’ BVRT episode debuts on TV screens at 4pm on Saturday 26 August (on SBS and SBS On Demand).
Watch the program live or watch the episode on demand, and check out the rest of the season whilst it airs throughout September.

Since 2021 there have been many improvements. A Great trail with lovely towns dotted on the way. Rode in August 2023.
