Batlow – Tumut Rail Trail group seeks funding for a feasibility study
Posted on 18/05/21
The Batlow to Tumut Rail Trail Association in NSW has launched a gofundme campaign to raise funds to conduct a full feasibility study of their proposed 32km Batlow to Tumut Rail Trail.
Located in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, the now-disused Batlow-Tumut railway line connected the orchard areas of Batlow to the regional centres of Tumut, Gundagai and Cootamundra, running through the scenic Gilmore valley. The feasibility study is an essential step in planning for the rail trail.
