The meeting will be held on Tuesday 11th September at 7.30 pm at the Forrest Hall to gauge support for this possible rail trail
The Forrest & District Community Group is holding a public meeting in Forrest for the establishment of a committee and to gain community support for this possible rail trail. The former 32km railway to Forrest, on the edge of the Otway Ranges, was closed half a century ago but apparently most of the former railway land remains in public hands.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday 11th September at 7.30 pm at the Forrest Hall. Forrest is 170km southwest of Melbourne.
