Lots of people may not realise this but Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) have helped with many rail trails projects in the past, providing many of the benefits we now enjoy. Now all rail trail users have the opportunity to give something back.
CVA are looking for more volunteers to assist with the clean up operations in many of the flood affected areas of Eastern Australia. Please visit the website at www.conservationvolunteers.com.au/floods.htm for more information on how to register interest in volunteering in any of the many upcoming recovery projects.
Please note that managers of affected rail trails can call Conservation Volunteers on 1800 032 501 to request assistance.
Thank you.
