Descriptions for eight proposed rail trails in the Newcastle and Country areas of NSW, along with two in northern Victoria, have been added to the Railtrails Australia website.
Newcastle Area Country NSW Northern Victoria
These descriptions all include maps, temporary at this stage, but provide an understanding of the proposals. Some great walking and riding ahead when these are developed. Railtrails Australia will be working with the groups to assit them as much as possible.
The addition of these descriptions basically completes our documenation of all open and prospective rail trails in Australia. The few prospective rail trails remaining will be added in the near future.
