Are you a keen caravanner? Are you also a cyclist?
The March edition of the Caravan World magazine has a theme of family/Easter touring. It contains a feature article about rail trails nationwide and how riding a bike while travelling is a terrific way to see the countryside.
Many caravanners, whether families or grey nomads, travel with bikes and this article promotes cycling on rail trails. It also talks about the economic benefits that rail trails can bring to towns and regions.
The article was written by Allison Watt, the Deputy Editor of Caravan World magazine, who is also cyclist who has ridden quite a few of the Victorian trails over the years!
In fact, Allison used some of her own pictures of her rail trail adventures over summer and was recently in Yea with friends where she took some photos of the Great Victorian Rail Trail while she was there.

This is a fantastic ride from Merton to Mansefield staying at Bonnie Doon Hotel/Motel on the banks of the scenic Eildon dam. Glorious scenery and friendly farmers on e-bikes checking their flocks! Found the trail toilets very welcome! We were very fortunate with fabulous weather the weekend before Easter.
Great track surfaces.
