The Queensland Government has provided funds to construct the next section of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail from Diamentina Street, Brassall (northern edge of Ipswich) and finish at Lloyds Road, Wanora.
This will add another 10.1km and bring the total length of the BVRT to 124km.
Once this section is complete you will be able to walk or ride from Brassall to Fernvale, Lowood, Coominya, Esk and finish in Toogoolawah.
The remaining missing links will then be Wulkuraka (Ipswich) to Brassall and Toogoolawah to Moore.
Ipswich City Council is seeking funds from the Queensland Government to build the Wulkuraka to Brassall section.
