Gladstone Regional Council has published a survey to assist in the Concept Design of the proposed Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail we’ve all been hoping for, and we need your support.
The Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail will transform 270 km of disused rail corridor between Calliope and Gayndah into a tourism destination for walking, cycling and horse riding.
Please help us get this project off the ground by providing your input, thoughts and ideas directly to Council.
The survey enables residents and property owners around the proposed Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail to share their thoughts, ideas and concerns about the trail.
It encourages input from residents of Gladstone Regional Council and North Burnett Regional Council, and visitors to the region.
Please share your ideas by completing the online survey.
Alternatively you can access a project poster – the QR code takes you to the surveys page, but if you prefer you can also complete the survey over the phone by calling the Community Engagement Centre on the number provided.
NOTE: This survey closes Sunday 16 May 2021.
Council will also have a stall at the Calliope Historical Village Markets this Sunday, 2 May from 8 am – 12pm, for anyone who would like to complete the survey on the spot, or ask questions about the project. Council will also have two open-house engagement sessions on Thursday, 6 May, from 10 am – 12pm at the Builyan Community Hall and from 2 pm – 4 pm at the Boyne Valley Community Discovery Centre.
