The last 2 km section from Sullivans Track to Yallourn has been graded and has a good surface (except for small sections where 4X4 wheel vehicles have illegally vandalized the track)! We are awaiting better conditions to top dress this section and replace vehicle bollards which have been destroyed!
The committee have plans to extend the trail another 5 km to Yallourn North via the old river road. Access to the first 500 m from Moe Railway Station is still being sought with VTRACK which would make the trail more user-friendly to visitors by rail.
The Million Paws Walk Day run by the RSPCA will use the rail trail on Sunday 20 May.
