The New England Rail Trail Committee is ramping up it’s efforts to get a rail trail established, but needs some funding to prepare a detailed business plan.
Obtaining government funding for the rail trail (103km), takes hard work and planning. Governments require detailed business plans, and design specifications before they will provide us with funds.
The New England Rail Trail committee, in conjunction with Armidale Regional Council and Glen Innes Severn Council have engaged Regional Development Australia Northern Inland to prepare a detailed Business Plan which can be used to attract government funding for the trail infrastructure (re-surfacing, drainage, fixing bridges, fences, signage etc.).
The committee is super excited to be launching a community based crowdfunding campaign, and now it needs your help like never before! To make this a big success, it needs EVERYONE to email THIS letter to ALL their email contacts.
