In order to more evenly distribute the work load among our volunteer team, we have created a new set of email addresses for our regional representatives. The reps’ names and email addresses can be found in the new Regional section at the front of the Contact us Page. The email addresses are named after the regions they cover. Eg. qld, wa, nsw, etc. Victoria is split into several such as vic-north, melbourne, gippsland, etc.
Instead of emailing our general admin address for trail or region related matters, we would now prefer you to consider the regional rep as the first point of contact. when dealing with Rail Trails Australia. If the representative feels more resources are required, he can forward to the relevant people. This applies to all rail trail managers such as municipalities, committees of management, trail user groups and the general public.
Each Rail Trail description now has the corresponding region email at the bottom of the Details section under the heading “Contact Us About This Trail”. Clicking the link will bring up a new email ready to send to the appropriate regional representative, complete with rail trail name and region in the subject line.
The Admin tab on the Contact us Page lists some other addresses. There is an address for the Rail Trails Connections Magazine editor for all magazine related correspondence, including article submissions, photos, queries, suggestions, offers of assistance, etc.
The webmaster’s address should be used for notifying us of any problems or issues with the website or email, including login problems and the online store.
Of course, you are always welcome to contact the admin address for any other general issue you’d like to discuss.
