After the devastating floods that struck the northern NSW and SE Qld this year, some good news with life returning to a little more like normal and construction resuming on the Tweed section of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail.
This 21km section between Murwillumbah and Crabbes Creek will be NSW’s second major rail trail and it is still scheduled to be opened by the end of 2022.
NBN News has a news clip of the clean up work that has gone on and the restart of construction, talking with Tweed Shire project manager Iain Lonsdale.
