Register for news updatesOld Beechy Temporary Rail Trail Closure (VIC)
Colac Otway Shire wishes to advise that both Old Beech Forest Road and the Old Beechy Rail Trail will be closed to all through traffic, including pedestrians and users of the Rail Trail, while the following road works are undertaken:
Location: Old Beech Forest Road, Beech Forest (between Wimba Station and Banool Station)
Works: Road Realignment and Reconstruction works
Duration: Monday 7 April – Thursday 18 April 2014
Please note that this temporary road closure will be in effect from Gellibrand East Road through to Old Colac Road for the full duration of these works and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes. Access to local traffic will be made available, however the road will be closed to all through traffic as the construction site will be impassable.
Detour route signage will be in place and motorists are advised to take care and observe all warning signage and other traffic control items.
