The Collie to Darkan Rail Trail, 200km SE of Perth, will be officially opened on Sunday 16th October 2005 Click here for more details of the rail trail
The opening will take place at the Darkan Railway Station in Darkan.
A ride/walk-in will take place from 9:00am for those interested and the opening ceremony begins at 11:00am.
Lunch will be available from various food stalls from 12:00 midday and the afternoons entertainment begins at 12:30pm
The Friends of the Collie Darkan Rail Trail Group Inc., the Shire of Collie and the Shire of West Arthur are hosting this event. Congratulations on all their hard work.
