Rail Trails on TV (Vic)
Melbourne’s Channel 7 screen a half hour Sunday show called “Discover”. On 23 August, the Channel 7 crew filmed parts of the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail for inclusion in their program. Vince Aitkin from Railtrails Australia was interviewed on camera together with Trail Manager Liz Tunnecliffe and Mary McParland from Bicycle Victoria.
Railtrails Australia arranged for several family groups and other cyclists to be present for the filming which proceeded on a fine cool Saturday.
The program was not seen last week due to Tennis Coverage. Look out for the program this Sunday, 5.30pm Sunday 28 September.
