The Goulburn – Crookwell Rail Trail planning stages are now complete, and the trail is supported by both local councils involved. Funding for construction is now the objective.
Situated within 2 hours’ drive from most Sydney suburbs, and a shorter distance from Canberra, this proposed 56km rail trail is well-placed for success.
To show your support for the long-awaited Goulburn – Crookwell rail trail, please sign the e-petition to the NSW Parliament using this link:

One comment on “Show your support for the proposed Goulburn – Crookwell Rail Trail in NSW”
The Goulburn to Crookwell Rail Trail would be a very convenient addition to our holidays at Canberra. It could be traversed from Goulburn on the way to Canberra, or as a day trip from Canberra (EPIC). We usually cycle a lot around Canberra when we visit there.
Alternatively, we could access the rail trail from the Crookwell end when we journey home via, say Yass to Bathurst and Mudgee.
Next year (hopefully) we will visit Victoria to try their rail trails, eg, Beechworth area, Gippsland, Mansfield, Bendigo and hopefully others. Naturally Canberra will be on the itinerary.
