After much planning and design our new website is taking shape. There is still a bit of work to be done but it’s getting closer. We thought it would be a good time to show you how it’s looking.
We’ve posted some screen shots on our Facebook page. You don’t have to be “On Facebook” to see the images but if you are you can make comments. Anyone can see these pictures. Just click this link to www.facebook.com/RailtrailsAustralia to bring up our page in a new window and click on one of the photos in the area highlighted. A large version of the image will appear and you can use the left and right arrow keys to scroll through the images.
The new website will have all the great features of our existing site such as Trail Descriptions, Trail Finder, News and Features (and archives), forums, information on Rail Trail Management, and other useful stuff.
New features include the ability for registered users to post comments on individual trails and news items, a members-only section with additional resources and information, and an online store where you can purchase guidebooks, calendars, membership and renewals, CD archives and many more great rail trails related things.
