Returning in 2022, Tour de Trail is a family friendly bike ride along the Great Victorian Rail Trail (GVRT) starting and finishing in Mansfield. Cyclists have the choice of two destinations; Maindample at 28kms return, or Bonnie Doon at 44kms which includes riding across the iconic Lake Eildon rail trail bridge. Experience beautiful views in all directions with gradual gradients and a traffic free environment.
Organised by the ‘Friends of the GVRT’, entry fee includes refreshments (tea/coffee/cold drinks) at either turn around location with a mobile coffee van and a sausage sizzle by a community group on your return to Mansfield.
The event is supported by the Mansfield Bendigo Bank, All Terrain Cycles and Krush for Riders cycling products. On-site activities at the Mansfield Station precinct will include live music, a coffee van, an ice cream/frozen yoghurt vendor and cycling displays.
