The Minister for Victorian Communities John Thwaites MP has approved a small grant to Railtrails Australia. It will be used to assist us with the revision of various rail trail descriptions and the updating of our web site; the distribution of our trail guide books to selected Victorian libraries, Secondary Colleges and Tertiary Institutions; and the transfer of our collection of film photographs to a digital format.
To accomplish these tasks we will be seeking volunteers with computing skills and people with a disability who have an interest in our work.
We are proud to be supported by the Victorian Government through the Victorian Volunteer Small Grants programme. This vital assistance will strengthen our services to the community at large and be an enriching experience for the volunteers who participate in these projects.
