Stage four will link the Brassall Rail trail to the BVRT at Ironpot Creek, and includes the contruction of three bridges.

The state Government are currently building the section from Brassall to Wanora, and once opened the BVRT will be connected to the City Rail at Wulkuraka providing a continuous Rail Trail to Toogoolawah.
The bridges were installed as part of works to extend the recreation bikeway and connect it to future residential growth areas west of the Ipswich CBD and to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
As well, LED path lighting has been installed and landscaping works undertaken along the 2.8km extension.
The Brassall Bikeway has proven popular with cycling enthusiasts since its launch and once stage four is complete we have no doubt it will continue to grow in popularity. Photo: Ipswich City Council
