Gippsland Plains Rail Trail Committee of Management is hosting a series of meetings to bring together community groups and members along our 67 kilometre trail who are interested in activities such as:
- Developing the trail for the enjoyment of cyclists, walkers, runners, tourists, artists, etc.
- Researching the history of the train line and its uses
- Protecting and restoring historic sites and natural vegetation along the trail
- Maintaining a favourite section of the trail.

Update: The Gippsland Plains Rail Trail is closer to completion with the announcement of funding and completion of paperwork to construct the fnal section between Glengarry and Traralgon, uincluding some important bridges.
