A few small changes to the Amy Gillett Rail Trail in South Australia have occurred in recent months that will make riding the trail a lot safer and more convenient.
New directional signage has been installed along the length of the trail ensuring that first time users will not get lost and they will have a good idea of where they are on the trail relative to the three townships along the trail.
A bike repair station has been placed on the corner of Onkaparinga Valley Road and Gillman Road, adjacent to the trails unofficial start point and carpark. The repair station has some great add-ons such as seating, and a drinking fountain. A second repair station has been placed at the highest point of the trail, about 1km from Mt Torrens.
