Come along and join the members and supporters of the Castlemaine Maryborough Rail Trail Inc (CMRT) for an unique opportunity to walk part of the potential Castlemaine to Maryborough Rail Trail in Central Victoria. You will hear from local historical society experts sharing their knowledge, along with naturalists who can provide information about the rich cultural heritage and significant volcanic landscapes of the Maryborough and Carisbook area.
On Sunday, 24 March, you will be able to walk the line and enjoy a delicious lunch which will be provided by Carisbrook Lions – along with friends and trail supporters. Tickets are $15 + booking fee for the walk-and-talk and lunch. Bookings can be made HERE.
Members of the CMRT are very keen to share their vision and aspiration for a world class recreational trail from Maryborough to Castlemaine and would love people to join them for this rare opportunity to walk part of the future ‘trail to be’. If you would like to know more about CMRT’s plans, activities and vision please head to their website https://cmrailtrail.org.au/ or contact them at hello@cmrailtrail.org.au
