Happy Anniversary! New section of Outer Circle Rail Trail opens

A new 200 metre section of the Outer Circle Rail Trail – also known as the ‘Anniversary Trail’ – in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs has opened, allowing cyclists to avoid riding on residential streets.

A new 200 metre section of the Outer Circle Rail Trail – also known as the ‘Anniversary Trail’ – in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs has opened, allowing cyclists to avoid riding on residential streets.

 

The new section, which opened in December 2020, is is alongside the Camberwell East Tennis Club and Camberwell High School and connects the trail from Prospect Hill Road to Riversdale Road, via Riversdale Park. It provides family friendly, off-road access for pedestrians and cyclists, and caters for all ages and abilities.
