Victorian Nature Based Tourism Strategy 2006-2010
The Victorian Government is currently (sorry about late notice) holding stakeholder workshops throughout Victori to develop Victoria’s Nature Based Tourism Strategy 2006-2010.
We encourage rail trail users to attend to ensure that rail trails are considered as nature based tourism.

Trails Strategy 2005-2010
Tourism Victoria has released its Trails strategy for the next five years, and rail trails certainly feature. Download it from the Tourism Victorian website (approx 2MB) to find out about the more than 2,000 trails around the state.
Rail trail commitees may also be interested in how their trails are prioritised on pages 35 and 36.
